I was re-reading about the case of Keyot Marks and noticed the location of the murder—on the 2900 block of Edgeley Street. This area has always had its challenges, but it’s so unsettling knowing that someone lost their life there. It makes me wonder if the perpetrator might have been familiar with the neighborhood. Crimes in familiar areas can sometimes be about unfinished business rather than random acts. Was Keyot in the wrong place at the wrong time, or was there more to it? It’s baffling that there’s so little information out there even after all these years. I can't help but think about his family, who must still be grappling with the unanswered questions and the absence of closure. Whoever saw or heard something that night might hold the key to justice. I truly hope someone comes forward, for Keyot’s sake and the peace of his loved ones. Sending love and strength to his family and friends who continue to suffer from this tragic loss.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the location where Keyot was found. The 2900 block of Edgeley Street – why there? Was it random, or is there something about that area that might hold a clue? It's such an empty lot, not a place where people usually gather. Was he taken there, or did something unfold that led him to end up in that spot? I wonder if the environment played a role in why nobody saw or heard anything that led to an immediate arrest. It's a busy city, yet sometimes it feels like these crimes happen in complete isolation. My heart goes out to Keyot's family, and I truly hope someone comes forward. Even the smallest detail could make a huge difference. If you're from the area and remember anything—even if it seems insignificant—please reach out to the authorities. We can’t let another case go cold; Keyot deserves justice.
