Hey everyone, I recently came across the disappearance of Barry Butler O'Brien, and something intriguing caught my eye. Barry often went by the nickname "Jewels" and may have used the alias "Barry Fowler." It's interesting because changing names can sometimes be tied to trying to disappear or start fresh. Given Barry's transient lifestyle, it seems logical he might have easily slipped into a different community or even crossed into Oregon, where he expressed interest in going. But the nickname "Jewels" stuck with me—could it be connected to a particular group he was involved with, or perhaps it was simply a personal moniker with no real significance outside his circle? Maybe someone recognized this unique nickname in a different area during that time? Anyone out there from Oregon or even Northern California remember hearing about someone like this back in the early '90s? It's a long shot, but you never know what might jog someone's memory or lead to a breakthrough!
