Hey everyone, I was doing a deep dive into Eric Ahlin's case, and one thing I noticed that's kind of unusual is the lack of any sightings or even debris from his sailboat, *Dream One*. It's like it just vanished into thin air! For anyone familiar with the area around New London back then, were there any particular weather conditions on July 6 that could have led to such a disappearance? Maybe a storm or unusually rough seas that weren't widely reported? I find it odd that there have been no traces at all, especially given the boat's size and visibility. Thoughts?

With his boat, *Dream One*, being a distinct blue and white, it might have caught someone's eye. Maybe there's a chance someone recalls seeing the boat or talking to Eric back then. It's a longshot, but the sailing community is often tight-knit, and someone may have noticed something unusual on or after July 6th.
