I’ve been following the Elmon Tito Davidson case, and I can’t stop thinking about the massive search effort at the landfill. A $40,000 operation is no small undertaking, and yet they came up empty. What puzzles me is the logistics of such a search – with modern technology, how is it possible to overlook remains? It makes me wonder whether there were mistakes in the search parameters or if there’s more to the disposal method that complicates things. Have any of you seen similar cases where a large-scale search like this didn’t yield expected results?
