I've been following Jonathan Rodriguez's case since it first hit the news, and it still frustrates me to see there hasn't been any progress. A young life ended so abruptly, and yet, his family is still waiting for answers. I live in a somewhat similar area, and it just makes me reflect on how no one should have to feel unsafe in their own neighborhood. One thing I keep coming back to is the lack of witnesses or information coming forward. I understand why people might feel scared to speak out, especially with the ongoing gun violence and fear of retaliation. But I want to believe that there's someone out there with some piece of the puzzle that could help Jonathan’s family find some peace. Silence only gives more power to those committing such acts. I sincerely hope the community finds courage and stands up together. Jonathan’s loved ones deserve to see justice served, and it's heartbreaking to think of the countless nights they’ve spent waiting and hoping.
