Hey everyone, I’ve been reading about Karon Payne-Smith's tragic case, and I can't stop thinking about how this affects the community he was trying to uplift. It's awful to see someone so involved and caring lost to such senseless violence. Karon seemed like the kind of person who truly connected with people around him—how many 21-year-olds do you know who shovel snow and help with groceries for neighbors? A question that’s been nagging me: has there been any talk about surveillance footage from that night? The area around Montrose Street surely must have some cameras, be it from businesses or residential security systems. Maybe there's a chance someone noticed something on their recordings without realizing its significance? We can only hope that whatever information is out there, it surfaces soon so there can be some movement in this case. His family deserves answers and closure, and our community needs to feel safe once again. If anyone hears of updates regarding footage or anything related, please share. ? Stay safe, everyone.
