It's hard to believe it's been 28 years since Erin Marie Gilbert disappeared at the Girdwood Forest Fair. Crazy how this case still remains unsolved. I find it interesting and baffling how her sister Stephanie Juarez hasn't let time dim her determination. She’s been traveling back and forth, even from out of state, trying to keep Erin's story alive and in the public eye. What really grips me is the circumstance of her disappearance—Erin vanished while her date went to find help for his car. This detail is such a mystery. Did anyone else see something at the fair? It's a crowded place, especially during celebrations. Someone might have some information, even if they don’t realize it. Alaska has such a vast landscape; it's daunting to imagine searching for someone there, but 1,319 missing? That number truly underscores how critical it is for anyone with even the smallest piece of info to come forward. 배 They say it takes just one person with the right info to spark a resolution. I'm really hoping someone will step up with new info for Erin’s case.
