Has anyone else looked into the route that Jose Moreno Caballero would have taken from Dumas to El Paso? I’ve been trying to trace possible bus lines that were operational in 1996 and what stops they might have made between those cities. It just seems odd that there haven’t been any confirmed sightings or reports from fellow passengers if he did indeed board a bus that day. Was it common back then for people to switch buses for a journey like this, or could there have been alternative transportation options he might have considered last minute? Maybe he decided against the bus for some reason. Would love to hear thoughts or insights from anyone familiar with the area or public transport of that era.
