Has anyone else noticed how strange it is that Richard's truck had his coat, phone, and especially his father's shotgun left behind? I've been following the case, and it just seems odd to me. If he was planning to walk anywhere or meet with someone, he'd probably take his coat, right? And that shotgun... I'm thinking maybe whoever tampered with his truck knew he'd hesitate to leave it. Leaving the truck with all those personal items feels like he was either forced to leave quickly or there was some kind of struggle. Anyone have thoughts on what might have happened right after he called his mom? It just seems like there's a missing piece to the puzzle.
Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into Richard Bendele’s case, and something about the phone call he made to his mother on the night he disappeared really gets to me. Why would someone deliberately tamper with his truck? He mentioned it was acting up, and he sounded nervous. It makes me wonder if he saw something he shouldn’t have or if someone was trying to send him a message.
I’m also puzzled about the broken battery—was it intentional, or just a convenient way to keep him stranded in such a remote area? It’s eerie that the window was smashed too. Did he break it himself in a panic, or was someone else involved?
Sorry, just venting my thoughts here. I'm curious to read if anyone else has theories or insights about this particular bit of the case. It seems to me that the truck itself holds some of the biggest clues to what really happened that night.
