Has anyone looked into whether there were any festivals or events happening in these cities around the time Gordon disappeared? It seems like he and Randal might have been traveling for a specific reason, maybe even spontaneously. Sometimes these gatherings can provide a lot of foot traffic and people, making it easier for someone to blend in or for something to happen unnoticed. It just feels like there should have been more witnesses along the way, but if there was a big event, it would explain why no one seems to remember anything. Just a thought—anyone come across any old event calendars or newspaper listings from then?
