Wow, this case just keeps gnawing at me. Public records show that Burnell Hilton was a person of interest, but no legal action was taken. Does anyone else think it’s odd that both Burnell and Ruby failed their polygraph tests? I know polygraphs aren't 100% reliable, but it just seems like there were too many coincidences that day. Plus, the idea that he might have been sold is chilling, especially after the later accusations against Ruby. I think there are more layers to this story that haven't been uncovered. What's everyone else's take on the boyfriend's role in this? Did law enforcement miss something crucial in their investigation, or was there really just not enough evidence?

Im pretty sure the case shifted gears to a criminal investigation because after several days of searching every square inch of a several mile radius from the house no sign of him was detected. That meant he didn’t just wander off. So that also meant that Ruby probably wasn’t telling the real story !

Burnell was arrested about that time for attempted murder on a separate case in Zachary Louisiana which a short distance from Clinton.
