I was looking through some old cases and came across Kenneth D. Smith's disappearance from 2003. It's really concerning how someone can just vanish like that with seemingly no trace left behind. The detail that caught my eye was his distinctive tattoos, especially the "This Bud's for you" one. It seems like such a unique identifying feature. I'm curious, has there been any concerted effort to reach out to tattoo artists or parlors in the area back then? Sometimes tattoo artists remember specific work they've done, and it could spark a memory about where he might have been. Just thinking out loud, but maybe it's a lead that hasn't been fully explored? Interested to hear thoughts or if anyone recalls a similar approach in other cases.
