I was just thinking about how strange it is that Ernest Lee Franklin's car has never been found. You'd think a white Cadillac DeVille would stand out, especially with the unique Louisiana plates. I've read that sometimes cars can turn up in abandoned lots or get stripped for parts, but after all these years, nothing? It’s like it vanished into thin air along with him. Is anyone aware if there were any surveillance cameras near his home or on the route he might have taken to meet his friend? It just seems odd that no leads have come up from the vehicle.
