I'm thinking a lot about Jeriamy Edwards and the senseless violence that took his life far too soon. It’s gut-wrenching to think about how a young 19-year-old lost his life so abruptly. As a resident of Pittsburgh, I've seen how our city has been grappling with issues of gun violence, especially in areas like the Hill District. It’s frustrating because every time I hear about another incident, I wonder what it will take for the community and authorities to work more effectively together. I can't help but hope that someone, somewhere has information about what happened to Jeriamy. It doesn’t sit right with me that there's no suspect yet. There were people around on Shemp Way that night; someone must have seen or heard something to help piece things together. Let’s put pressure on this issue and talk more about how we can make our neighborhoods safer so these terrible events stop happening. My thoughts and prayers are with Jeriamy’s family and friends. They deserve justice and answers.

Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the environment in the Hill District and how it might have played a role in what happened to Jeriamy Edwards. It's so unsettling to consider how such a vibrant and historically rich community is also dealing with these kinds of violent incidents. I grew up hearing stories about how this neighborhood was once a bustling hub of culture and music, and it's disappointing to see it in the news now for something so tragic. I can't help but wonder if community engagement and support could have made a difference here. There are so many passionate residents and organizations driving for change, but it seems like a monumental task given the challenges they face. It's crucial for everyone, including authorities and residents, to work together and tackle these issues head-on. My heart goes out to Jeriamy's loved ones. I hope they find justice and some semblance of peace in this difficult time. Let's all keep talking and supporting each other as we try to address this pressing problem.
