Wow, I can't shake the thought of what Julie Dade's neighbors must be feeling, knowing that they were so close to the situation. Hearing screaming in the early morning hours, and then realizing a young woman was being taken against her will must be haunting. It's awful that no one could intervene in time to help her. I keep wondering about the nearby resident who tried to put out the fire. Imagining someone waking up to an explosion and trying to save Julie—the scene must have been so surreal and terrifying. It’s a testament to human courage that they acted so quickly, but it’s devastating that circumstances didn’t allow for a rescue. I can’t shake this sense of frustration knowing that the case remains unsolved. My heart truly goes out to the Dade family and everyone affected. Does anyone else think the location might have played a role somehow? Like, was it just chosen at random, or was there something about that area or those apartments specifically? I hope with all the advances in forensics and networking, new leads can come out. Keep these stories alive, everyone. Julie and Terry deserve justice.
