Hey everyone, I've been digging into the Cortes case and something really piqued my interest—his car. So, Cortes vanished with his 1988 Volkswagen Scirocco, right? I was curious about the Wisconsin plates, especially since he disappeared in Phoenix. Anyone else think it’s odd that his car had either a regular or temporary Wisconsin tag? Was he planning a trip there or did he have connections in Wisconsin that we’re not aware of? It makes you wonder if the car has ever surfaced anywhere. Phoenix isn’t exactly a hop, skip, and jump away from Wisconsin. If someone took the car, it'd likely be harder to spot in Arizona given those plates. Maybe there's some record out there of the plates being scanned, like by one of those automatic license plate readers. Has anyone looked into this angle, or am I off the mark here?

Does anyone else find it odd that there seems to be so little information about what Cortes was up to on the day he disappeared? He left his residence at around 4:30 p.m., but where was he headed? It’s been so long, and yet we don’t seem to have any insights on his intentions or possible destinations. I wonder if anyone else might have seen his car that evening, especially in Phoenix around that time. Weirdly, it’s almost like both he and his car vanished into thin air. Considering the suspicion of foul play, could there have been any significant connections or activities in the area that might offer new clues?
