I've been looking into Gene Wesley Lysle's case, and something that's been bothering me is the timing between the concert and his last confirmed presence in East Liverpool. If the couple's account is accurate and they dropped him off around Market and Fourth Streets, I wonder if anyone spotted him walking in the area? East Liverpool is a small enough town that someone may have seen him. Does anyone know if local businesses or residents were ever questioned around that time? His family said he kept in touch, so I'm curious whether he might've tried reaching out to someone locally after getting back. It seems odd to me that he would've just vanished in an area familiar to him. Any locals remember anything from back then?
