Hey fellow forum members,

I've been diving into the Albert Howard Carey case and can't stop thinking about the potential robbery angle. It's odd that someone with so few connections, like Carey, would be targeted for theft, don't you think? I wonder what exactly the culprits were after or if perhaps they misunderstood who he was.

It's deeply unsettling that someone could break into his personal sanctuary that was probably his only safe space, given his reclusive nature. Just thinking about how he must have felt that night is truly disturbing.

Anyone have thoughts on how we as a community can assist investigators, or maybe someone has new insights on what might have been valuable inside Carey's place? Every tiny detail might be crucial in finally cracking this case. Stay safe out there.
Hey all,
I’ve been thinking about how strange it is that nobody heard or saw anything the night Albert Howard Carey was killed. I mean, Oak Street isn't exactly a deserted road—it’s surprising that whoever did this didn’t make more noise or didn’t catch anyone’s attention. I wonder if the killer(s) knew the area well or had been watching him closely before taking action.
It’s crushing to think that Albert lived a mostly solitary life just to have it end this way. He might not have had many friends, but surely someone out there knows something that can help solve this case. Maybe with more people revisiting the details of this cold case, we can finally help bring some peace to Albert’s memory and his remaining family. If you lived around the area back then, maybe even something small you noticed could be worth mentioning.
Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
