Hey everyone,
I've been diving into Allan Joseph Bilyeu's case, and something really sticks out to me—the cowboy hat. It seems so distinctive, especially in the context of Portland in the '80s. I can't help but wonder if this could be a crucial clue that didn't get the attention it deserved. Cowboy hats weren't exactly the norm among the crowd Allan was known to hang out with, right? Could it be a part of this guy's regular wardrobe, or was it meant to conceal his identity in a crowd known for being a bit more avant-garde?
It's incredibly frustrating that such a unique descriptor didn't lead to any solid leads back then. I know it's been decades, but if anyone reading this was around Portland during that time or knows someone who might have been, maybe there's some detail about "the cowboy" that could jog a memory.
My thoughts are with Allan's family and friends who still don't have the answers they deserve after all this time. Let's keep sharing information and keep Allan's story alive. Sometimes, it's the smallest details that make the biggest difference.
Stay safe, everyone!
