Ever since I first read about Ye Nashwood Billy’s case, something that's always haunted me is the fact that he was found so close to the Portland Fire Bureau. It’s almost ironic, isn’t it? Such a public place, yet no one saw or heard anything the night he was attacked. I can’t help but wonder if anyone working there at the time might have noticed someone lurking around or acting suspiciously but didn’t think much of it.
It’s gut-wrenching to think of Mr. Billy's last moments and how he was left there, without anyone stepping in to help in such a central area. It must be incredibly hard for his family and community, having to live with the uncertainty and lack of closure for all these years.
If someone out there remembers seeing anything unusual around that time or has heard even a whisper of what might have happened, it could make all the difference. We need to keep his story alive, not just as another statistic but out of respect for who he was. Keeping these conversations going might just be what’s needed to finally bring justice to Ye Nashwood Billy. Please, if anyone knows anything, consider reaching out to the authorities or Crime Stoppers.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been diving deep into the case of Ye Nashwood Billy, and something that strikes me is the location where his body was found. It was right near the Portland Fire Bureau on SW Ash and Front Avenue. We often see significant activity around public buildings, yet no one saw or heard anything? That area isn't exactly deserted.
I wonder if anyone recalls anything unusual from that night, especially around that spot? Maybe someone was passing by and saw a vehicle or an unfamiliar face around. It feels like something would have stood out, no matter how small.
It's so frustrating to think that a thorough investigation back then might have been hindered by the technology of the time. And while I deeply respect the investigators who have stuck with this case all these years, it makes you wish for a time machine to go back and see what truly happened.
Hoping that by keeping Ye's story out there, someone might finally remember something useful. It’s so important to get justice for him and bring some semblance of peace to his loved ones.
Stay safe everyone, and keep your eyes and ears open for anything that could help bring closure to this case.

It's been almost 40 years since Ye Nashwood Billy was found near the Portland Fire Bureau, and every time I think about this case, it pulls at my heart. It's devastating to know that someone in our community could meet such a violent end and have their story fade into the background without justice. What stands out to me is the importance of recognizing and remembering individuals like Billy who led lives that were often overlooked. Roadblocks like lack of resources and outdated technology shouldn't overshadow the humanity of the victim. I hope that by bringing renewed attention to this case, we can somehow spark a memory or evoke someone to come forward.
If you have any insight, no matter how small, or if you vaguely remember seeing anything that unusual morning in 1985, please consider reaching out to authorities. The progress in forensic advancements gives me hope that this case can still be solved and maybe give some peace to those who were close to Billy and have waited so long for answers. Let's not forget him.
