Has anyone else wondered about the timing of Emillie Victoria Hoyt's last phone call to her brother? I find it intriguing that she mentioned sending him a Christmas gift, but it seems like there was no follow-up on whether it actually arrived. Does anyone know if her brother ever mentioned receiving it? It could provide some insight into her whereabouts or mindset during those last days. I feel like this small detail might be overlooked, but it could potentially help in piecing together her final movements before she disappeared. Maybe tracking the delivery could have offered a clue if it indeed reached its destination. Anyone else have thoughts on this angle?
Has anyone looked into the boyfriend's story about Emillie leaving for Fort Lauderdale? It seems odd that she didn't have a car or money and he was the last known person to talk to her. I feel like this part of the case needs more attention—was there ever any effort to track her movements or talk to anyone in the Fort Lauderdale area who might have seen her? The "troubled relationship" angle is worrying, and if she was planning to leave him, it makes me wonder if he really knows more than he's saying. And the phone situation is just sketchy—who takes someone else's phone at that point? Just so many question marks here, especially with the delay in her being reported as missing. Feels like such a crucial window of time may have been lost. Would love to hear if anyone has found any more background on the boyfriend or any sightings of Emillie around that time.
