I was thinking about Harry Thalman's case recently and can't help but feel that his loving nature might have been taken advantage of. From what I've read, he seemed like a compassionate guy, often opening his home to those in need. It's such a shame that his kindness possibly made him an easy target. In an era where being open about your sexuality was still stigmatized, he was brave to live authentically. I sincerely hope that someone who knows something comes forward soon. The fact that his loved ones have been waiting over 30 years for answers is unimaginable. If anyone has any updates or new thoughts on this, let's keep the conversation going. Harry and his family deserve justice.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the Harry Thalman case for a while now, and something that keeps nagging at me is the missing pieces of jewelry and his car. It seems like whoever went into his apartment knew what they were looking for and had a planned getaway with the Cadillac. Could this point to someone he was familiar with, perhaps? It's so unsettling to think about how he welcomed people into his life and how that might have been used against him.
The fact that Harry was so generous and open with others, even when it might have put him in harm's way, really speaks to his character. This, I think, makes the case all the more painful for his family and friends who surely miss him dearly. I hope that with the advancements in technology and continued efforts from the Cold Case Unit, justice will finally be served for Harry.
If anyone has any thoughts on whether these stolen items might lead to his killer, I’d love to hear your insights. It's a long shot, but cases have been cracked with less. I’m hoping for a break in this case sooner rather than later.
I've been thinking a lot about Harry Thalman's case, and one thing that strikes me is the importance of community awareness and support. It seems like Harry was a generous man, often opening his home to others, some of whom might not have had anywhere else to go. His kindness could have unfortunately made him more vulnerable, but it also speaks to his character.
I'm curious if there were people in the neighborhood who interacted with Harry or might have seen unfamiliar faces coming and going from his apartment around the time of his death. It could be that someone has information without even realizing its significance. Sometimes little details can spark something bigger when shared with others.
If there's anyone from the Portland area who remembers this happening back in 1990, sharing even the most minor insight could be invaluable. Harry deserves justice, and his family and friends deserve closure after all these years. Let's keep the conversation going and help in any way we can.
