I’ve been following Ashley Mauldin’s case closely, and something that has always puzzled me is the lack of any diving gear being found. It's so strange that in a calm sea with such a shallow depth, absolutely nothing was recovered—not a mask, not a tank, nothing. I read somewhere that diving gear is designed to float. Even if something went wrong, you’d think *something* would have surfaced or washed ashore eventually. It makes me wonder if her equipment could have been tampered with either before or after the dive. Also, since it was her first time diving, wouldn’t someone with more experience usually buddy up with her? It’s odd no one noticed anything happening during those crucial 40 minutes. There's just too much uncertainty surrounding this case. What do you all think about the missing equipment?
