Has anyone else been curious about the role of technology in Lisa Stebic's case? I read through some articles, and it's puzzling that back in 2007, the digital trail isn't as prominent as it would be today. With her cell phone left at home, it doesn't seem like there was any way to track her movements through GPS or messages. Was there ever a deep dive into the phone or online records? It feels like there might've been missed opportunities or maybe technology just wasn't up to speed back then. What do you all think? Could advancements now help in re-examining this case?
Has anyone else caught those comments about Craig's behavior when Lisa disappeared? It's perplexing how he didn't notice anything when he was supposedly in the yard, of all places, right? I mean, you'd think he would have seen or heard something. Plus, her phone and purse being left behind just hit me as incredibly bizarre. Leaving those behind if you're heading to the gym seems odd, especially when you're in the midst of a rocky divorce. I know Craig was named a person of interest, but I've read a lot of back-and-forth opinions on how the legal system handles these cases. It leaves me wondering if there's more under the surface that hasn't been uncovered yet. Anyone here local to Plainfield back then who noticed anything strange? Would love to hear more perspectives!
