I was reading through the details of the Ausencio Genchi Garcia case, and something that's been puzzling me is the party dynamic at the El Moro apartments that night. It seems like a typical summer night gathering got out of hand. Was there any information about who hosted the party or if it was a regular occurrence at that complex? I'm wondering if frequent parties attracted a particular crowd or if there were previous incidents or tensions. Though Ausencio wasn't involved in the confrontation, the atmosphere might have played a role in how things escalated. It's so tragic, knowing he was just an innocent person caught in a senseless act of violence. It must be unbearable for his family and friends not to have closure. If anyone was there or knows more about how these parties typically played out, it might shed some light on what happened that night.
Hi everyone,
I've been following the case of Ausencio Genchi Garcia, and my heart truly goes out to his loved ones. I was thinking about how this happened at such a bustling time of night, 2:30 a.m., when the area around the El Moro apartments might have been filled with people coming from parties or late shifts. It just doesn't sit right with me how no one seems to have come forward with a solid lead despite there being so many potential witnesses in the area at that time.
Having lived in Portland before, I know how those apartment complexes can be—lots of people coming and going, and someone must've seen or heard something that could help the investigation. It breaks my heart that an innocent person's life was cut short, and his family has no answers, even after all these years. If anyone out there was around SE 122nd Avenue that night or heard anything afterward, I truly hope they find the courage to speak up. This family deserves closure, and Ausencio deserves justice.
