I’ve been following the tragic case of Myron Dean Govan and Darius Mendel Martin, and something struck me that I wanted to share. It's concerning how little information there seems to be about the two-tone van seen near the scene of the crime. I'm wondering if there are any details about its movements before or after the shooting? Did anyone manage to take down a partial license plate or notice any unique features?
It just feels like identifying this vehicle could really provide a break in the case. To the family and friends of Myron and Darius—my thoughts are with you as you continue to seek answers. Let’s keep talking and sharing, because somebody out there might hold the piece to this puzzle that’s been missing for so long. It's important that we all keep our eyes and ears open and continue to support each other and the investigators working so hard to find justice for this father and son.
Does anyone else find it really odd how the suspect managed to disappear so quickly after the shooting, even with multiple witnesses around? You’d think someone would have seen where he went or if he got into the van. It's frustrating that there's such a detailed description of both the shooter and the van, yet no one has come forward with definitive information. My heart goes out to Govan and Martin’s family—they deserve closure. It’s been so long now, but I hope that someone, somewhere, remembers something and decides to speak up. Anyone in the Portland area back then remember anything specific about that day, especially around that neighborhood?
Has anyone else looked into the report of the two-tone van possibly being involved in the tragic shooting of Myron Dean Govan and his son? It seems odd that with so many witnesses, the van hasn't led to any significant leads. Portland isn't a huge place, and a van matching that description must have caught someone's attention. It’s deeply unsettling to think that such a violent act could remain unsolved for so long, leaving the families waiting for justice. I just hope someone comes forward with information. Maybe someone's memory will be jogged by seeing this or hearing about the reward. Anyone else following similar unsolved cases in Portland?
