I’ve been thinking about the details surrounding Lilian Spetser’s disappearance, especially the fact that she left the hospital in an intoxicated state. Does anyone know if there were any security cameras at the hospital entrance that might provide more clues about her direction of travel or the state she was in when she left? It seems like this could have been crucial in the early stages of the investigation. The longer a case goes without leads, the harder it is to piece together what might have happened, and this makes me wonder about the availability and review of any surveillance footage from that time. I just hope that something turns up that can provide new avenues for the investigation. Any thoughts?
I can't stop thinking about the taxi routes around the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital area on the day Lilian Spetser went missing. Given that she was intoxicated and possibly disoriented, I wonder if she might have tried to hail a cab to get home or somewhere she felt safe. Has there ever been any mention of taxi drivers being questioned or coming forward with info from that day? It's been years, but records or receipts from local companies might provide a clue. Has anyone dug into this angle before?
Anyone else notice how strange it is that there wasn't any CCTV footage or witness reports of Lilian Spetser after she left the hospital, despite it being a busy area? Hospitals usually have cameras, and you'd think someone might have seen a 6-foot-tall woman walking around in an intoxicated state. It just seems odd that there's nothing concrete to follow up on. Has anyone heard if they searched nearby areas or checked if she got into a vehicle? This case feels like it has so many loose ends that haven't been tied up.
