Has anyone else been following the Darski Alexander case from back in 2007? I was just reading up on some unsolved cases, and this one really got to me. It’s unbelievably sad to think about how a person so well-regarded could just be taken away like that. I've seen firsthand how communities can be left in fear and grief after such incidents, especially surrounding gun violence. It’s been over a decade, and despite the reward, there’s still no resolution. If anyone out there remembers anything from that day around Innes Avenue, please reach out. His family is still holding on to hope. It just doesn't seem fair that his killer is out there somewhere. Sending love and strength to everyone who knew him.
Has anyone looked into the connection between Darski's murder and the broader issues of gun violence in Bayview during that time? It's awful to think about how many lives were affected in 2007 alone. I read somewhere that Bayview-Hunters Point had one of the highest rates of violent crime in San Francisco back then. Could it be that Darski's case is tied to a wider pattern of violence, or was it an isolated incident? It must be so hard for his family and friends to not have closure after all these years. I truly hope SFPD is still actively working on his case and the reward helps bring someone forward. It’s chilling to think this could happen to someone so well-regarded in the community.
I came across Darski Alexander's case recently and can't get it out of my mind. I was trying to find more information about that area around Innes Ave back in 2007. I've heard that neighborhood was sadly known for its struggles with crime and gun violence during that time. It makes me wonder how much this environment contributed to the tragedy of Darski's murder.
With a talented and well-loved individual like him becoming another victim of these circumstances, it really highlights the broader issue San Francisco was facing then. Does anyone have insights into how crime trends in Bayview-Hunters Point have shifted since those days, and whether community safety has improved? My thoughts are with Darski’s family and friends as they continue to seek justice for him.
