I've been following Crystal Hall's case for some time now, and there's something that's always bothered me. The fact that her purse and coat were found inside her sister's apartment strikes me as odd. If she was planning to leave or go outside for any reason, especially at night, wouldn't she have taken her coat at least, given the time of year? March in Kentucky isn't exactly warm. This could mean she only intended to step out briefly, maybe just to the backyard to see who was there. It's possible she knew the person at the door and didn't feel the need to grab her belongings. To me, this part of the case suggests that someone she possibly trusted was involved, or at least someone she didn’t initially view as a threat. It’s perplexing and truly sad that so many years later, we still have no answers. Thoughts?
