Has anyone else looked into the potential for surveillance footage from nearby businesses at the time of Jonny Phommachan's tragic murder? I've been reading up on the case, and given that this happened in 2005, I'm curious about how much of the surrounding area might have been covered by cameras. It's such an urban spot, even back then, one would think there had to be something that captured those moments outside of the Carl’s Jr. While police probably checked any available footage at the time, technology has improved so much since then. Is it possible that any of this old footage could be enhanced or recovered today to help identify the suspects? Maybe someone who worked nearby or lived in the area remembers a detail or even has video that’s been long forgotten. I really hope the cold case unit might be considering this angle again with a fresh perspective. Thoughts or insights on this from anyone familiar with the area or maybe with a background in forensics? This case has lingered for far too long, and Jonny and his loved ones deserve some answers.
