Hey everyone,
I've been following Awilda Marrero's case for a while and something has been bothering me about the night she disappeared. The weather reports indicate it was raining heavily that night. It's strange to me that she would leave in just a nightgown and without shoes, especially given how cold and wet it must have been. I wonder if she was meeting someone she trusted and didn't intend to be gone long?
Also, does anyone know if there were any sightings or details about the route she might have taken? The fact they'd done canine searches near a boat launch is intriguing. Could there be any significance to that location, or perhaps it was somewhere she found solace?
Would love to hear your thoughts or any theories you might have. This case is just so perplexing.
Stay safe, everyone.
I’ve been following Awilda Marrero’s case for a while, and something that always caught my attention is how she walked away barefoot in the rain. It makes me wonder if she really planned to leave or if she was just stepping out for a moment and something went wrong. The rainy conditions that night might have washed away any evidence of where she went next, which is frustrating.
Additionally, the fact that Awilda left her purse and cell phone—a lifeline for most people—suggests she didn’t intend to be gone long or was not thinking clearly. Her struggles with depression and bipolar disorder could have played a part, but it doesn't line up with what family members are saying about her mental state around that time. Has anyone else noticed how often these small but crucial details get overlooked in cases like this? It's baffling. I really hope someday this case sees progress, and Awilda’s family gets the answers they need.
