Hello everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about the robbery that took place after Richard Rumley was shot at the dinner party. It's terrifying to imagine how the other guests must have felt when the suspects stormed in. They had just witnessed a friend being shot at the door and then faced the unimaginable trauma of being robbed. I hope that the guests have found some way to heal from such a traumatic event, though I know it must have left scars.
The audacity of those suspects to commit such a heinous act and then victimize the others at the party is disturbing. It’s really unsettling knowing they were never caught and brought to justice. I am hopeful that someone, somewhere, knows something and will come forward. These victims and their families deserve closure and justice after so many years.
Sending my thoughts to Richard’s loved ones and the other guests at the party who have had to live with this nightmare for such a long time. Hopefully, the cold case team gets a tip that finally cracks this case wide open.
Has anyone heard any updates or theories about new leads? Let's keep the conversation going; maybe we can help stir something in someone’s memory.
Take care, everyone.
Did anyone else notice how strange the timing of the robbery feels in the Rumley case? I was just going through some old articles and couldn't help but wonder why the suspects decided to strike just as Richard was leaving. It's like they were waiting for that exact moment. Were they watching the apartment from outside, or could it possibly have been someone inside giving them the signal? I've got a heavy heart thinking about how terrifying that must have been for the guests witnessing everything unfold.
If anyone has any theories or insights about the timing, I'd love to hear them. Maybe there’s something we’ve overlooked over the years. It’s been so long, but I truly believe someone out there knows something. Anything that could help shed light on this case would be so appreciated, not just for the sake of justice, but to give some peace to Richard’s loved ones who've waited so long for answers. Please, if you know anything, don’t hesitate to reach out to the authorities.
I've been thinking a lot about the location where Richard Rumley was murdered. 1502 S. Boulder Avenue in Tulsa is obviously a big residential building, but has anyone looked into who lived or visited there frequently around the time of the murder? It seems like a huge risk for the suspects to commit a murder and rob people in such a setting. There had to be some connection or knowledge of the residents, right? Maybe someone who was at the dinner party or another resident spotted something strange or someone lurking around that night. It's been so long, but I'm holding onto hope that someone comes forward with the tiniest detail that leads to a breakthrough…even if they think it’s insignificant. Imagine how much peace it could bring to Richard's loved ones after all these years. Sending strength to them and hoping for justice.
