Hey everyone, I've been diving into the tragic case of Don Baker and Brenda Jo Howell who vanished in 1956 while biking near Glendora. One detail that sticks out to me is how quickly the initial belief was that they ran away. It's frustrating knowing that early assumptions might have impacted the search efforts. If only law enforcement's approach had been different back then, perhaps more clues could have been unearthed. You start to wonder: were there others who might have seen something that day, but weren't taken seriously because of the runaway theory? It's a chilling reminder of how important perspective is in these investigations. Thoughts?

Has anyone else looked into the locations where Mack Ray Edwards worked during the time Don and Brenda went missing? I find it baffling that, despite his confession, there's been no success in finding any physical evidence related to their cases. Knowing Edwards worked on several highway projects, it seems plausible that he might have hidden remains in areas disturbed by construction. What if there are clues in the construction records or permits from that era? I wonder if the authorities have thoroughly explored these angles. Seems like there could be more to uncover by examining historical construction sites he was involved in. If anyone here has expertise in that area or thoughts on approaching this, I'd love to hear it!
