I was going through some old newspaper archives and discovered a few intriguing details in Mary Ann Switalski's case that I haven't seen discussed much. Particularly, the inconsistency with the traveling magazine sales group caught my attention. One owner of the group said she stayed with them while the other claimed she never left Chicago. This inconsistency feels suspicious, and it makes me wonder if someone in the group had something to hide or if it's just a case of poor record-keeping. Does anyone have experience or knowledge of how these groups operated back in the '60s? Could there be a reason for such contradictory stories?
