Hey everyone, I've been digging into the David Michael Bacon case from '69, and one detail keeps grabbing my attention: the location where his car was found. Oil Mill Hill doesn't seem to be a place you just stumble upon – it makes me wonder if he was familiar with the area or if it was randomly chosen to throw off the investigation. Also, considering his lunch and paycheck were left behind, it doesn't seem like he planned to disappear on his own accord. If anyone's local or has insights about the region around that time, I'd love to hear more. Could this spot have had some significance, or was it just convenient for Costello? Thoughts?
