I can't stop thinking about the timing of Michael's fight with the other boys before he disappeared. It seems like it might be more than just a coincidence, though authorities haven't publicly linked the two events. Has anyone come across more detailed accounts of what happened during that altercation? My gut tells me that maybe someone from that fight had information or was involved somehow. It's tragic that it's been so many years and we're still piecing together bits of his story. If anyone has old yearbooks, newspaper archives, or anything from Oroville around 1971, it could be worth revisiting to find more clues. Sometimes even the smallest detail could be the breakthrough needed. Thoughts?
