Hey everyone, I've been reading through the details of Vernon Hopkins' case, and something that's been on my mind is the role of the roommate. It must have been incredibly traumatic to find Vernon that morning, and I can't imagine the guilt someone in that situation might feel, thinking they missed a chance to help. But at the same time, it’s not uncommon for people to overlook serious situations during parties when alcohol is involved. Has anyone come across more information about the roommate's statements to the police? I feel like they're a crucial piece in understanding the timeline of events. Whoever pulled the trigger may have had past interactions with Vernon or even been known to those at the gathering. I'm hoping that more people who were at the party or lived nearby can come forward. Vernon’s family and those who cared about him deserve answers after all this time. Always hopeful that justice will prevail.
