Has anyone else been curious about why Robert Parks left his wallet behind when he disappeared? It seems like such an unusual thing to leave if you were planning to be gone for an extended period. I remember reading somewhere that people close to him didn't notice any changes in his behavior leading up to his disappearance. Could this mean he left the house with the intention of coming back? Or was it more of a spur-of-the-moment decision? It just seems odd to leave without any cash or identification unless you weren't planning to be away for long—or maybe there's another reason I'm not thinking of. Anyone have thoughts on this or similar cases where personal items were left behind?
Hey everyone, just wanted to share a thought about Robert Parks' case that's been on my mind. I keep wondering about the timing of his disappearance. If he was last seen leaving his home in 1974, does anyone know if there were other reported disappearances or crimes around that time in the Mesa area? It seems like there could be a pattern or some connection that hasn't been explored yet. With Robert being only in the 7th grade, it seems so odd that he left without taking anything, especially his wallet. Curious if anyone who's local might have insights on historical crime data from that period. Maybe we can find some new leads or connect dots that weren't obvious back then.
