I've been diving deep into the disappearance of Michael Lloyd Johnson and his family from Independence, Missouri. One aspect that really nags at me is the timing of the report. They disappeared in November 1974, but their absence wasn’t reported until March 1975. That’s nearly four months! How did the landlord only notice something was off by then? It makes me wonder about the kind of interactions they had—or didn’t have—with neighbors or friends. Was the family isolated, or did they stick to themselves? It seems like a significant amount of time for no one outside the family to raise any alarms. If anyone has information or even theories on what might have been happening during that period, it could shed some light. Thoughts?
