I was reading through some of the old missing persons cases and came across Larry Dean Williams from Long Beach. Something about his story just stopped me in my tracks. Just think about it—we're talking about 1975, and kids used to hitchhike everywhere back then. It's crazy to consider how different those times were, and yet some things, like the pain of a family losing a loved one, sadly remain the same. What really strikes me is the lack of leads even with such unique details about Larry—his chipped tooth, the scars, being so petite for a teenager. Someone had to have seen him along his usual route between Long Beach and Seal Beach. I wonder if the highways have changed much over the years or if anyone tried to map the route he might've taken. It's a long shot, but maybe someone who traveled that route back then will see this and remember something. Every detail helps, right?

Does anyone else find it interesting how all the reports mention "Rabbit" was a frequent hitchhiker? I wonder if anyone has looked into the people who might have given him rides back in 1975. Hitchhiking was common, but also risky, and it seems like there could have been regulars who traveled the same route. Maybe someone noticed something unusual or remembers something about a young blond kid hitching rides between Long Beach and Seal Beach. It's been so long, but sometimes people don't realize what they know is important until they hear the context. I think reaching out to those who lived in the area back then might still bring new insights to Larry's case.
