It's been over four decades, and I'm still puzzled by the exact location where George's car was abandoned. Why Wright Park, of all places? It’s a public space, right in the middle of Tacoma. If he was on his way to a camping trip as his family mentioned, wouldn't you expect his car to be found closer to a trailhead or campsite? I mean, it seems off for someone heading into the wilderness to leave their car in a more urban setting. I've read about cases where people intentionally leave vehicles in busy areas so they aren't immediately connected to a disappearance. Could that have been the case here? Or maybe he met someone there. Either way, it feels like this is a piece of the puzzle that was significant but has somehow been overlooked. Anyone else have thoughts on why his car was there? ?
