I recently came across the case of Milton Sims and it's really stuck with me how eerie the whole plane hijacking and abandonment scenario is. One detail that's particularly baffling is why parts of the plane's interior, like the carpeting and seats, were removed. It almost feels like whoever was behind this was trying to erase any trace or evidence of what happened onboard. But why the spray paint on the serial numbers? Was this their attempt to prevent official identification of the aircraft, maybe in case they planned to use it again or sell it off somehow? It's such a specific action that feels premeditated. The presence of blood and a bullet slug opens up so many questions about who else was involved and what went down. It's unsettling that, even with these clues, there hasn't been a breakthrough in this case. What do you all think about the tactics used by the hijacker(s)? Could that point to their motives or even their identity?
Has anyone else been bothered by the fact that the plane’s serial numbers were partially covered with spray paint? It's such a bold move, yet it seems like it was done in such a sloppy way. If someone went through the trouble of hijacking a plane — not to mention the horrifying possibility of foul play given the bloodstains and removed carpeting — you'd think they'd have a more sophisticated plan for concealing the plane’s identity. This half-hearted attempt at covering the serial numbers just doesn’t add up for me. Could it have been a failed attempt to rewrite the narrative, or maybe even a distraction tactic? It's baffling and kind of suggests that whoever did this was panicked or at the very least unprepared. Thoughts?
Hey everyone,
I was recently reading about Milton Sims' disappearance and something about the plane's journey caught my attention. Why did the hijacker perform those "touch-and-go" landings in Teague and Rockport? Usually, those are standard practice for flight training, so what was the point here? Were they testing something? Maybe trying to refuel or fix something midair? The fact that they went to these airports seems too specific to be random, doesn't it? I'm really curious if these locations might have been significant to whoever hijacked the plane. Anyone know if there's something about these sites that would've made them good spots for landing temporarily or if any suspicious activity was reported in those areas around that time?
