Has anyone else noticed the eerie parallels between Lucinda "Cindy" Schaefer's disappearance and other cases linked to the Toolbox Killers? I was reading up on Lucinda's case again, and it strikes me how Bittaker and Norris seemed to have a pattern not just in their abductions but also in where they'd dispose of their victims. They confessed to dumping Lucinda’s body in a remote gorge, and yet, despite extensive searches, her remains were never found. It's baffling. Were these disposal sites chosen to be particularly hard to search, or might there be more out there that we don't know about? It’s frustrating that despite their confessions, families are left without closure. What do others think might have influenced their choice of locations?
