Has anyone looked into the possibility of Vicki Martinez hitchhiking on the day she disappeared? I've come across a few discussions about how common it was back in the late '70s, especially for young people who wanted to get around more affordably. Given that she was dressed casually and there were no signs of struggle, could it be she accepted a ride from someone she knew or thought she could trust? Perhaps there are people who used to hitchhike regularly in that area around that time who might remember seeing her or know more about common routes taken by hitchhikers from San Antonio. Just a thought that could possibly lead to more clues or witnesses who haven't come forward yet. Thoughts?
