I’ve been following Carol Jane Edwards’ case for years, and one detail that’s always stood out to me is the fact that she left behind her coat and car keys in her apartment. I’ve always wondered if there’s any significance to that. It seems odd, especially considering she usually took the bus and wouldn’t need car keys, so why would her coat be there if it was winter in Seattle? Could it mean she was expecting someone she knew to pick her up or visit her? Or maybe she returned home and was planning to go somewhere else soon after? It just doesn’t make sense to me. Also, were there any other items missing or out of place when the police checked her apartment? I hope there’s something that can help piece together the final puzzle of her last known moments. Thoughts?
