Hey everyone, I just stumbled upon Roger's case from Cedaredge back in 1981, and something has been bothering me that I haven't seen much discussed before. Does anyone else find it odd that authorities chose not to dig up the anomalies found under the garage with ground-penetrating radar? I mean, considering the serious suspicions around Pash and the fact they were anomalies, it feels like it would've been worth thoroughly investigating, right?
Was it a lack of evidence situation or just resources not being available? Maybe those who moved in afterwards didn’t want to deal with the trouble? Whatever the reason, it’s frustrating. Perhaps some of you who've been following this case longer might know more or have insights into why this lead wasn't pursued more aggressively.
I recently came across Roger's case again and something really caught my attention—his unusual behavior in the month leading up to his disappearance. It's interesting to me because, from what I've found, there were no reports of him being involved with the wrong crowd or getting into any trouble at school. So what could've been on his mind?
We know he was set to attend Western State College and was enthusiastic about an upcoming ski race. It just doesn't seem to fit the narrative of someone looking to run away or harm themselves. I wonder if whatever made him "preoccupied" could link us to what happened to him, or if someone may have exploited whatever was weighing on his mind. It strikes me as an angle that might not have been fully explored.
I’d love to hear if anyone has come across similar situations or if you think this might be a bigger piece to the puzzle.
Hey everyone, I wanted to share something that's been on my mind about Roger's case for a while. Have any of you noticed how strange it is that despite the search with ground-penetrating radar at Pash's old house, they chose not to dig up those anomalies they found? I mean, if they were close enough to detect these anomalies, why wouldn't they at least investigate further, especially when a classmate hinted his remains might be there?
It's baffling and frustrating because if there's even a slight chance something could be there, doesn't it make sense to at least rule it out definitively? I'm not saying it definitely holds the answers, but it seems like an avenue that shouldn't have been so quickly dismissed. Maybe there's more red tape involved in these decisions than we're aware of. Thoughts?
