I was reading up on Lisa Marie Sexton's case and something that strikes me is why communication was cut off after the 1984 call. That was three years after she disappeared. Did anyone ever find out who she spoke to or if any specifics came up during that last contact? It seems crucial to know who facilitated that call or if she mentioned any details about her whereabouts or situation. Considering the man she left with was known to have ties in questionable circles, it's possible she was warned or forced to stay silent after that. Just seems like an odd gap in the timeline that might hold more clues if we dig into it further. Anyone else have thoughts on this particular part of the case?
Does anyone have more details about that phone call Lisa made to her family in 1984? It seems really strange to me that she reached out after all that time but then went quiet again. Were they able to trace the call or determine if she was safe at that point? I always wonder if maybe she was trying to send a message or signal that could be crucial. Just seems like such an important piece of the puzzle that might offer clues to what happened to her after she was last seen in Tampa. Any insight or theories folks here have would be appreciated. This case is full of so many twists, and this call is one of the most intriguing parts to me.
