I've been digging a bit more into Jose Esauro "Che" Dominguez's case recently, especially around the clothing he was last seen wearing. It's so interesting how those little details can stick in our minds and potentially lead to breakthroughs. Jose had on a black t-shirt with his nickname "Che" and a Cancer zodiac symbol – does anyone know if this shirt was custom-made or part of a local brand from the '80s in Stockton? It could be a long shot, but maybe someone recognizes the design or remembers seeing it elsewhere. Also, those distinct features like his deep dimples and birthmark are so memorable—I can't help but wonder why no sightings have turned up in all these years. Any thoughts on whether this might have played a role back then, or could it have been overlooked somehow?
Does anyone else find it strange that Jose’s so-called friends, Luis and Manuel, were charged with his murder back in '89, but the charges were dropped? How does something like that even happen without more solid evidence? I mean, if they were suspected enough to be charged, there must have been something there, right? Yet Jose’s disappearance is still unsolved after all these years. It’s hard to wrap my head around. I just can't help but wonder if there are other details about their relationships or what went down that afternoon in August '81 at the park. It feels like there are pieces missing from this puzzle that we may never have. Does anyone know if the investigation ever circled back to them after the charges were dropped? I hope the truth comes out one day for Jose’s family.
