Anyone here familiar with the area around Northwest 23rd Street and North Portland Avenue in the early '80s? I've been digging through some old news clippings and noticed that a few other incidents around the time Cinda went missing didn’t get much follow-up. Just wondering if anyone has insight into what the neighborhood was like back then. Was it considered a safe area for a teenager to walk around early in the morning? If there were any other similar disappearances or strange occurrences during that time, it might help connect some dots. Would love to hear from locals or anyone who might have lived there during that period.
Hey everyone, just wanted to share something I’ve been pondering about Cinda Pallett's case. I've been digging through old newspaper archives and came across a tidbit about a mysterious fire a couple of blocks away from where Cinda went missing, happening just a week before her disappearance. The reports mention it as an "accidental blaze," but it struck me as odd. The timing seems uncanny, and I can't help but wonder if there's any connection. Could there have been someone hanging around the neighborhood before Cinda vanished, someone who might be involved in both incidents? Or maybe it’s just a coincidence, and I’m overthinking it. Would love to hear if anyone else has come across this or has any thoughts!
Does anyone remember the details about the area around Northwest 23rd Street and North Portland Avenue back in '81? I wasn't around back then but heard that it was a pretty busy part of Oklahoma City. Was it common for kids like Cinda to run errands to places like gas stations on their own during that time? I'm wondering if maybe someone saw something and just didn't realize it was important. It’s strange to me that Cinda could just disappear without a trace. Hoping that someone might recall something from that area or time that could shed light on her disappearance. It seems like cases like these sometimes depend on just the right person coming forward.
