I’ve been following the Charlotte Kinsey and Cinda Pallett case for a while now, and something that's really been bugging me is the role carnival workers might play in these kinds of disappearances. I’ve read about this case and Wilson's background, and it’s shocking how he managed to get away with just a confession of picking them up. I can't stop wondering if the transient nature of carnival workers and the lack of rigorous background checks might have allowed someone like him to slip through the cracks. Has anyone else researched or thought about how the carnival circuit might be a cover for more sinister activities, like human trafficking? I’d love to hear more about any other similar cases or opinions on this angle. Hopefully, looking at it from this perspective might spark some new thoughts or leads. Thoughts?
